The following are step-by-step instructions on configuring pop-up blockers in Mozilla Firefox for Mac OS X.

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.

2. Select "Firefox" from the menu bar.

3. Select "Preferences..." from the drop down list.

4. Select the "Content" icon.

5. With the option "Block Popup mac" unchecked, Mozilla Firefox will never block pop-ups. However, it is recommended this be option checked. Note: With this option checked if there is a website you use that requires pop-ups you will have to add that site to the Allowed Sites list.

6. Select "Allowed Sites".

7. You can add a website to the allowed sites list by typing in the address in the "Address of web site" field.

8. In this example by typing "*.uconn.edu" we tell the pop-up blocker not to block pop-ups on any websites that end in .uconn.edu

9. Select "Allow".
