The following are step-by-step instructions on determining that you have the latest version of Internet Explorer for Windows.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Select "Help" from the menu bar.

3. Select "About Internet Explorer" from the drop down list.

4. You will find the version of Internet Explorer you are currently using on the first line.

5. Select "OK".

6. Select "Tools" from the menu bar.

7. Select "Windows Update" from the drop down list.

8. Select "Express".

9. There are currently no updates; however, if an update to Internet Explorer is available it will appear here. You can install any updates by selecting the "Install Updates" button that is currently grayed out.
