Plug-ins - Java/Javascript

The following are step-by-step instructions on configuring the Internet Explorer Java and Javascript Plug-in for Windows.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Select "Tools" from the menu bar.

3. Select "Internet Options..." from the drop down list.

4. Select the "Security" tab.

5. Select "Custom Level...".

6. Scroll to the section labeled "Scripting".

Step 6

7. This is where you can choose to either have scripting enabled or disabled by choosing the appropriate option.

8. Select "OK".

9. Select "Yes".

10. Select the "Advanced" tab.

11. Scroll to "Java (Sun)".

12. To enable or disable Java, check or uncheck the box labeled accordingly.

13. Select "Apply".

14. Select "OK".

NOTE: In order for this setting to take effect Internet Explorer must be closed and re-opened.
